An early rendering of "Invaders from the Fifth Dimension" that Ron did as a kid back in 1970.

Cover art done for File's Magazine's "Lost in Space Tribute Book" in 1987. Unfortunately, it was withdrawn from the project due to legal concerns.

The accepted preliminary sketch for the first edition box art utilized for the Polar Lights Jupiter 2 kit.

The uncropped and unprocessed artwork that Ron did for the first edition Polar Lights Jupiter 2 box art. The original oil painting measures 18" X 18" and is now in the possession of Playing Mantis CEO Tom Lowe.

A comparison of the original artwork done for Polar Lights with the processed version. Notice the cropping and the added "grain" effect, intended to make the work look like an aged '60's design.

An oil panting of a spacescape that Ron did in his college days. Titled "Antares 5," this 33" X 42" oil painting (or an appropriate reduction) has been used frequently as a backdrop for some of Ron's modeling projects.

This was the preliminary drawing done for the "Antares 5" oil painting (shown immediately above.) It measures 11" X 14" and was rendered with a single black wax pencil.

A 33" X 46" oil painting that Ron did back in 1974 as a tribute to a classic "Outer Limits" episode. This has nothing to do with Lost in Space, except that the "cerebral" theme helped to give birth to variety of alien counterparts: the Talosians and the Vians of Star Trek, and of course, the "Invaders form the Fifth Dimension" on Lost in Space.

The completed rendering of Robby the Robot, first seen in the film Forbidden Planet, and later in Lost in Space.  Ron developed this illustration and submitted it to Polar Lights in the Summer of '99 for possible use with their new Robby the Robot model kit.
